Qualifications:
Must be a leader, with the ability to lead the Tech team, and Focus on the Big Picture
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience In Tech with at least 2-3years of which as Tech Manager/Lead
Oversee the full lifecycle of technology projects, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Ideal Candidate must possess a background in working within digital settings, coupled with extensive familiarity with serving as an on-call tech professional in a remote work environment that extends globally.
While not mandatory, a background involving the Financial and Accounting Industry, showcasing a profound grasp of its distinctive operational intricacies, compliance benchmarks, and technological needs, would be a valuable asset.
Must have a deep understanding of the technologies and tools relevant to the industry and projects the team is working on. This expertise is crucial for making informed decisions, providing guidance, and troubleshooting technical challenges.
Must have a strong ability to think strategically, aligning technology initiatives with broader organizational goals and contributing to the formulation of long-term technology roadmaps.
Experience with generative AI and machine learning is a plus.
Adept at spotting potential challenges, conducting risk assessments, and crafting proactive strategies. This knack is vital not just for upholding the resilience, security, and seamless operation of our current and prospective technology systems, but also for navigating uncharted technological waters with finesse.
Certifications like: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM):, and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Certification are a huge advantage but not required.
Cyber Security and/or Compliance & Risk certifications considered a plus (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, Security+, CSAP, etc.)
BSc/BA in Computer Science, IT, and Engineering, or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus

Responsibilities:
Train-Tech staff both new and existing staff
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of skilled IT professionals to achieve peak performance and innovation.
The Tech Manager will essentially serve as a ‘tech ninja’ for our operations, ensuring seamless functionality of our tech team around the clock.
Tech Manager will actively participate in client interactions, closely collaborating with a diverse array of 16 internal departments.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and security protocols. Implement measures to safeguard sensitive data and maintain system integrity.
Ensure the quality of deliverables by implementing best practices, coding standards, and testing methodologies. Review code, architecture, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards.
Troubleshoot reported application issues and help facilitate a resolution to aid the company in preventing issues going forward
Responsible for proficient project planning, resource allocation, and managing timelines. A Tech Manager should be capable of overseeing complex projects from conception to completion, ensuring goals are met within set constraints.
Staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements, industry trends, and best practices is vital for driving innovation and maintaining a competitive edge.
