2. Mission of the Role
To edit engaging and fast-paced Facebook and TikTok video ads optimized for the advertising performance of e-commerce brands.
3. Responsibilities of the Role
Video Editing:
– Editing Facebook and TikTok video ads in Final Cut Pro and Postlab with content from our creators and adding captions within safe zones, transitions, effects and background music.
– Downloading raw content from creators from Google Drive to Postlab Drive.
– Creating new productions and Final Cut Pro libraries in Postlab.
– Adjusting the audio in different clips to a similar level with Audio Limiter.
– Using TikTok AI voiceover and TikTok Comment Reply overlays.
– Uploading videos to ClickUp tasks and submitting them to Creative Strategist for review.
– Include the word banana in your proposal so we know you read the requirements and have attention to detail.
Team Collaboration:
– Applying internal and client revisions requested by Creative Strategist or clients within set deadlines.
– Keeping up with the latest trends in Facebook and TikTok advertising, social media, short video production and Final Cut Pro editing.
– Working quickly and accurately to meet tight deadlines.
4. Results of the Role
– Maintain the number of internal revisions per task to less than 1
– Complete internal and client revisions within 16 hours
5. Skills & Qualifications
– Minimum 2 years of experience editing social media videos in Final Cut Pro.
– Strong communication skills and ability to work without close supervision.
– Great understanding of short video content on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube and knowing how to edit engaging and dynamic videos for these platforms.
– Attention to detail and an eye for design.
– Proficient in English grammar and able to catch typos or misspellings.
– Ability to work well with team members and co-workers.
– Communicative and able to receive and provide feedback in a professional and constructive manner.
– Enjoys a fast-paced environment and can work under pressure with tight deadlines.
– Advertising experience and understanding what makes creative perform on social media is preferred but not required.
– Experience with Postlab is preferred but not required.
– Experience with ClickUp is preferred but not required.
– Experience with Slack is preferred but not required.
